Brighton had a day to forget as they hosted Leicester City at the Amex Stadium in today's Premier League clash.

Welcoming Claude Puel's side to the ground, Leicester proved the better side over the 90 minutes and two late strikes from Vicente Iborra and Jamie Vardy proved to be enough to take all three points in a two nil victory.

The game could've been different though as Wilfred Ndidi saw his marching orders for a second yellow card with minutes remaining in the game and the match was poised at one nil at that time, however Vardy's stoppage time second put paid to any hopes of a comeback.

Manager Chris Hughton will still feel aggrieved as prior to the visitors gaining advantage Glenn Murray saw his effort from the penalty spot saved by Kasper Schmeichel and he also missed the target completely during a first half one on one with their keeper.

Brighton slip into 13th place in the top flight table, but remain six points clear of the dropzone so fans will be hoping this was just a bad day at the office following Murray's goalscoring form previously this season.
