Referee:

Brighton's Championship season continued with a win at the Amex Stadium against Bristol City on Tuesday.

The Brighton lead at the top of the table was always going to remain in place, regardless of the outcome in this game, but once again Zamora came up trumps for Albion as he came off the bench to score the winner!

Williams had put Bristol City ahead but Baldock equalised against his former side before Zamora made sure the unbeaten run remained in place with a two-one win, getting the winner in the final 10-minutes.

Bristol City started well and took the lead when defender Williams (17) volleyed home, which came after good work from Kodjia when he beat some Brighton defenders before picking out Williams with a fine cross.

This was a lead Bristol City took into half time but only due to fine defending from City defender Ayling!

Against his former side Baldock ran through on goal, he beat 'keeper Fielding when he lifted the ball over him but Ayling got back to make a clearance off the line.

A penalty appeal, soon after the break, was made by Bristol City when Freeman went down under a challenge from Hunemeier. Not only was a penalty not given the ref then booked Freeman for a dive, much to City's displeasure!

Then came the equaliser, which as was inevitable you felt, from Baldock (53) when he was left to tap in from just six-yards for only his second-goal of the season so far from a Bruno cross from the right.

Brighton came under pressure again with Albion 'keeper Stockdale making a fine save to deny Kodjia and keep it level before, and fresh from his 89th-minute winner on Saturday, the veteran won it.

Zamora (82) left it late again, minutes after coming on, with a 25-yard drive that ended up low in the corner, giving Bristol City 'keeper Fielding no chance, for the winner.
