Rotherham 1 Brighton 0 (Report)
New York Stadium
Brighton, as I've said countless times, should be pretty certain of a place in the Championship but we've still got work to do to ensure that we avoid relegation following our defeat at Rotherham on Easter Monday.

The one-nil defeat at the New York Stadium saw our hosts boost their own survival hopes in the process as it moved them some seven-points clear of the bottom three, it also confirmed that Blackpool would be relegated so it's just two spots that need 'claiming' now! Wigan look set to be another, but who will take the final place....
Rotherham took an early lead when Bowery's cross was turned past Stockdale by Derbyshire (8) with less than 10-minutes played to give them a great start, and us the worst possible one! There wasn't much else from the first half, that goal aside.
Hughton clearly had words at half time and this made a difference but having been put through Kayal wasn't able to beat Rotherham 'keeper Martinez with the provider of the hosts' goal Bowery almost diverting a Best cross past his own 'keeper!
Derbyshire had a one-on-one of his own to seal the points but Stockdale saved well and that would have proved costly if Mackail-Smith hadn't seen his effort saved by Martinez having come off the bench.
Only the post denied Rotherham a second, Ward clipping the outside of the post, but that early goal was enough to make it a miserably Easter weekend for us.
