A first defeat in six games, and a first defeat under Chris Hughton, was suffered by Brighton at the weekend.

Brentford came to the Amex Stadium on Saturday afternoon and duly went away with the points after a one-nil win, in a game that saw us end with 10-men.

Had Brentford 'keeper Button not saved well with his feet from Calderon, having been set up by Mackail-Smith and also denied Baldock we would have been ahead - Button again denied March.

The Brentford lead came when Dallas made the most of Calderon's mistake to cross into Gray (29) who made no mistake with an effort that went in past Stockdale via a deflection off Dunk.

Dunk's misery was complete before then end when he was sent off for collecting his second yellow card....
