It seems a long time since we have seen action at the Amex but we get back to it tonight with the visit of Barnsley.
After a poor showing at Bournemouth on Saturday, Oscar Garcia may turn back to his established players as they trickle back from injury; however it would be difficult to drop Rohan Ince but I'm not sure if Liam Bridutt comes in there will be a place for him. That will be a shame as he has so much power and desire to win.
Barnsley come to the Amex manager less and rooted to the bottom of the Championship but we all know how dangerous bottom teams can be. That said its a fantastic opportunity to build on our 4 match unbeaten run.
Albion midfielder Andrea Orlandi has spoken to the BBC ahead of tonight's game about how important December will be in mapping out the rest of the Seagulls season.
Leo Ulloa, kazenga Lualua and Will Buckley are all vying for a place on the bench tonight, although Nathan Jones has stated that it may be a little early for each of them. Craig Mackail-Smith is hoping to be back before the new year which is positive news. Both Matthew Upson and Rohan Ince have recovered from niggles after the Bournemouth game..
With Liam likely to start for the first time since the Leeds match, it will be interesting to see if we will get more players forward with his presence holding the back line together.
Barnsley caretaker Micky Mellon will be without striker Chris O'Grady (calf) and goalkeeper Luke Steele (back).
On-loan defender Peter Ramage (thigh) could feature after injury.
A big lad who knows how to score.
These two sides have met 39 times with Albion winning 14, losing 16 and 9 being all square.
Brighton have won six and lost just two of their last nine league meetings with Barnsley (D1).
The Tykes have lost their last five meetings with Brighton away from home, scoring just twice in this run.
Brighton's biggest win was the 5-1 thrashing last season. Barnsley's was 4-0 in September 1968.
Can't see us playing as badly as we did Saturday and I think we will be to strong for the tykes. Brighton 3-0 Barnsley
7/12/13 Albion v Leicester City
