Albion travel to Suffolk today to take on Ipswich Town at Portman Road. The tractor boys have won 3 drawn 1 and lost 4 so far this season, losing their last game 2-0 away to Wigan.
The Albion go there on a run of six games unbeaten.
Ahead of todays game, Albion defender Stephen Ward has spoken on the official club website about how the Albion are so strong defensively all across the pitch and lets hope they maintain that again today.
Ipswich manager Mick McCarthy has said that it's important that they don't concede the first goal as Brighton don't lose many when they score first.
Ipswich will have to re-shuffle their front line after their new signing Paul Taylor returned to Peterborough his former club, on loan, so either Alan Lee or youngster Jack Marriott could get the nod. Dean Gherkin is set to retain his place in goal after his mistakes in recent games.
If Lee starts his physical presence always cause problems for any defence and set pieces are a constant threat with him around.
Things are on the up for the Albion, with OG having to make some tough decisions especially in midfield with the return of Keith Andrews, Kemy Agusien and Jake-Forster Caskey all pushing the in form Rohan Ince for a starting berth. Asley Barnes continues up front and we will have to see if OG starts with the two wingers Buckley and Lualua away from home.
Although Lualua is looking dangerous each game recently, Will Buckley seems to be finding his form again and when he's on form he's usually scoring and that is what Albion need at the moment.
The two teams have played each other 63 times with the albion having wins -22, losses 27 and 14 draws.
Albion's biggest win against the Norfolk side was a 6-1 home win in May 1949 and Ipswich beat the Albion 5-0 in September 1951.
Last season it was all square at 1-1 at the Amex but the Seagulls thumped Ipswich 3-0 at Portman Road.
If Brighton's improvement continues and everyone plays to potential then I can see us winning 2-0, otherwise, on a bad day maybe a 0-0 or 1-0 loss. Fingers crossed.
