Albion

Madjeski Stadium

On Sky

The Albion travel to much fancied Reading this Sunday needing to turn around the recent form we have shown against ex-Saints gaffer Nigel Adkins team. Can we show the viewing Sky sports millions what a good side we can be?

Vital Quotes:

Goalkeeper Tomasz Kuszazk feels that Albion will cope we'll without Orlandi but this was before we signed Craig Conway on loan from Cardiff today ( Friday).
OG wants the players to be psychologically strong and the new signing may give everyone a boost.
Reading midfielder Jem Karacan, sees the game as a chance to kickstart their season.

Reading Team News:

Ex-Albion loanee Wayne Bridge may be fit for Sundays televised game but Mikele Leigertwood and striker Jason Roberts won't be fit enough to get into the match day squad.

Player to watch: Adam le Fondre

Le Fondre always has and always will score goals, he is an excellent finisher and Albion should be very aware of him.

Albion Team News:

Albion have signed Craig Conway from Cardiff today and he should be cleared to play and replace the injured Orlandi. Barnes and CMS are still injured as are Liam Bridcutt and Bruno Saltor.

Player to watch: Craig Conway

Just to see what the little Scot can bring to the team, hopefully creating and maybe taking plenty of goal scoring opportunities.

Match Facts & Stats

Albion have played Reading 90 times with there being wins - 28, losses 34 and 28 draws. In 40 odd matches away from home, Albion have only beaten Reading 9 times, with Reading scoring a total of 76 goals to Brighton's 39.
Readings biggest win was in 1950 when the Royals put 7 past the Albion without reply but in 1957 they got their revenge with a thumping 8-3 victory.
Albion and Sky Sports fans may like the result to be the same as when Reading entertained the Albion in February 1963' when Albion just edged a nine goal thriller 5-4.

Match Prediction:

My heart says at least a draw my head says probably a 2-1 loss but I just hope that my heart has got it right this time.
