Albion will look to re-establish the Amex as a fortress when they host auto-promotion chasing Hull City in a live televised clash.
With two home fixtures in the space of four days, the Seagulls will be looking for maximum points to help force their way back into the play-off picture - and bounce back from a disappointing defeat at Hillsborough.
Steve Bruce's Tigers are sure to provide a stern test, currently situated in 3rd place, and having been in and around the automatic spots for much of the season. The only real blot on their recent league results is an unexpected 3-1 defeat to Sheffield Wednesday. We can relate to that part!
Gus Poyet highlights the (obvious) benefits of taking 3 points in this one..
He told seagulls.co.uk, "It might only look like the same three points for winning a game but winning on Saturday will mean that it's three points that Hull cannot get, which is also very important.
"Teams that have done well so far this season are in a great position in the table because of how they are playing. Hull are one of them so it will be a very good game for us.
"It's a great game to be involved in. The players, the fans, the coaches, it should be a special game for everyone."
Ashley Barnes serves the first of his 3-match ban following a straight red at Sheffield Wednesday, which could mean a return to the starting XI for Craig Mackail-Smith.
Will Buckley and Bruno are both available feature, whilst Adam El-Abd will train on Friday following his return from international duty with Egypt.
The fleet-footed winger was influential in the earlier part of the campaign, but has seen injuries and rotation gradually lessen his impact. There has been a distinct lack of pace on show in recent league fixtures - and Buckley's return could be just the ticket in terms of freshening things up in attack.
Hull team news to be confirmed.
The 32-year-old Slovenian has again been a reliable source of goals from midfield, notching 7 so far this campaign. With a penchant for long-range strikes, Koren has thrived playing in the hole behind the pacy attacking duo of Sone Aluko and Jay Simpson.
Albion are yet to record a win over the Yorkshire outfit since returning to the Championship, with two 0-0 draws and a 1-0 defeat.
Jay Simpson struck a last minute winner to condemn the Seagulls to an opening day defeat at the KC Stadium in August.
