Dutch Youngsters Joins Brighton

Brighton have today announced another new signing, Soufyan Ahannach from Eerste Divisie side Almere City.

The 21 year old is predominantly a left winger and he makes the move to the Amex on a three year deal - joining the first team not the U23s - for an undisclosed fee.

Impressing at his former club, he helped them into the Dutch second tier Play Offs last season, scoring 18 goals and providing 15 assists in 42 appearances across the campaign.

Speaking to the Official Site as his signing was announced, manager Chris Hughton explained.

'We are pleased to welcome Soufyan to the club; he's a young player with a lot of talent and good potential. He's has done very well playing senior football in Holland in recent seasons and we look forward to seeing more of what Soufyan is capable of over the coming weeks and months.'

Having first made his debut for Almere City back in 2012, he leaves them with a total of 32 goals from 97 appearances.
