Kayal Suffers Broken Leg

Kayal Suffers Broken Leg

It's being reported this afternoon that Israeli midfielder Beram Kayal has now undergone surgery on a broken leg sustained during pre season.

The BBC reported a short time ago that 29 year old Kayal suffered a small fracture in is fibia during the friendly against Atletico Madrid on Sunday and he was of course substituted at the half time break with Steve Sidwell coming on in his place.

They say he had successful surgery earlier today and the expectation is that he'll now be out of action for at least eight weeks as he recovers and rehabilitates but he could potentially be sidelined for 12 weeks.
