9 Points For Brighton To Play For (21/4/17)

9 Points For Brighton To Play For (21/4/17)

Brighton have only 9 points left to play for in this year's battle in the Championship.

With the games dwindling down now at the real business end of the campaign as Brighton find themselves heading towards the end of May, we sit in top spot having jumped ahead of Newcastle United by seven points in the last round of fixtures - a five game winning streak - and the aim is simply to stay there now and try and take the title with automatic promotion secured.

With Reading in third place on 79 points there's no concerns on that front, but we have to keep this form going with Newcastle still being in with a shot of replacing us - but given relative form and a two point swinger you'd think the title is ours.

Onto Norwich City this weekend and depending on how things go, the fat lady might have sung.
