Holla At Brighton

Holla At Brighton

Manager Sami Hyypia has today completed the signing of versatile Dutch midfielder Danny Holla.

The 26 year old has signed a three year deal keeping him at the club until the summer of 2017, and the former Groningen player was at the Birmingham game yesterday before undergoing a medical and finalising the deal late last night.

He becomes our sixth signing and has joined the lads at St George's Park ahead of Tuesday night clash against Leeds United.

Speaking to the Official Site the gaffer explained.

'Danny is a player who has plenty of top flight experience in Holland with more than 200 senior experiences, and that experience is something we need.'

Hyypia goes on to say that he's a 'deep lying' midfielder and having not been at the club over pre season he will need to be assessed in terms of his fitness first, but if he's off pace it shouldn't take too long to get him up to the levels required.
