Jones Could Have Followed Oscar

Nathan Jones has revealed that he could quite easily have followed Oscar in leaving Brighton at the end of last season, he could even have followed him to Israel as he offered him the chance.

Jones has told the Argus that Oscar wanted him to go and work with him at Maccabi Tel Aviv, a club that will be playing in the Champions League, but as much as he enjoyed working with the Spaniard he enjoys it with Albion more as we make his 'life complete' so he didn't want to change this.

He would relish the chance to work with Oscar again in the future but when it was made clear by the club that he was still wanted at the Amex by the board and, more importantly, Sami Hyypia he knows he's at the right club.

The plans that Hyypia has impress him and he is excited by working with him.

It's some compliment to Jones that Oscar, having worked with him for only a year, was keen to take him to work alongside him back with the Israeli side but it's an even greater one to us that he's had no interest in move on.
