Toko Now Feeling Right At Home
New summer signing Nzuzi Toko has said that he's been made to feel right at home by his new Brighton colleagues since moving to the club.
The player has moved to us from Grasshopper Zurich, and was actually born in the same town as Kazenga LuaLua, and knew of him via his brother who he played alongside for Congo, so he knew he was coming in with a friendly face to see.
Speaking to the Official Site, he explained.
'I know Kaz's brother from the national team and Kaz has helped me settle in but not only him, everyone in the club has been very good to me. They are good people so it has made it easier for me to feel comfortable and at home. I am feeling very good, my teammates are very nice and I am very much looking forward to the new season. Now I am here and I am very happy to be a part of this time.'
Toko goes on to say that it was difficult for him to make the move as obviously he's coming into a new country and it's a lot of change for him, but he feels the move will work out well for him and he's going to give it his best crack because he always wanted to make the move to English football, so he's delighted he's now here.
'I want to try my best to help the club and the team. Every time I go on the pitch I will do my best. Brighton have ambition and I am very happy to be part of this work here.'
It's certainly a big move for the 23 year old to make and he knows the English game well following TV coverage that everybody gets of the leagues, so he feels it will suit him and his style and looking forward now to making an impact next season.
