Baldock Offers Rejected

Baldock Offers Rejected

It's being reported that Brighton have had a couple of bids for Bristol City striker Sam Baldock rejected by the club.

The offer is undisclosed but it's said that manager Sami Hyypia has made the 25 year old a top target this summer as he bids to bolster our forward line that currently stands at two seniors - Craig Mackail-Smith and Leo Ulloa who has been on the end of interest from Leicester City.

Baldock was made their skipper last season and does only have one year left on his deal but the Ashton Gate outfit don't need to cash in on him, because they want him to lead their own push for promotion next season.

We also being linked with a £600,000 move for striker Manuel Onwu Villafrance who plays for Osasuna. It's said the 26 year old is likely to depart for new pastures following their relegation from La Liga last season but fellow Championship sides Bolton, Bournemouth and Sheffield Wednesday are also being linked with the player.
