Bruno - That Should Have Been Three Points

Bruno has acknowledged that we played more than well enough to have justified all three points yesterday, but our quality in the final third was what let us down ultimately.

Speaking to the Official Site following the game with Bruno making his return after missing the last two, he was adamant we deserved more from the game, saying that a point really wouldn't have been fair either.

'I wouldn't necessarily call it unlucky but I think we need more quality in those final few yards of the pitch. I don't know how many chances we had, but we just couldn't score. But, I feel we played really well, especially with regards to our overall quality, intensity and our aggressiveness, so it's frustrating. It was disappointing because we played really well and they had one real chance from a corner but they've scored two.'

Talking more specifically about the final third of the pitch, Bruno says that everyone in the team needs to start chipping in with goals because we can't keep relying just on Leo Ulloa, even though he did bag his fourth goal in as many games.

Midfield and defence, from set pieces especially, really should be chipping in with more strikes, as we are putting the work in defensively, but having another goal threat really would increase our chances of promotion this season.
