Double Albion Call Up

Double Albion Call Up

Gordon Greer isn't the only Brighton international call up this week as another two were given calls by their countries this week.

Stephen Ward is in the provisional 29 man squad for the Republic of Ireland friendly with Serbia next month and Christian Walton has been called into the England U19 squad to face Turkey.

That makes it an Englishman, Irishman and Scots man handed international call ups, there's got to be a joke in there somewhere.

Greer and Ward aren't really surprises, you could argue that young goalkeeper Walton also getting his chance isn't either but that is arguably the most exciting one as he builds on his training camp call up earlier in the year.

We'll be keeping an eye out for all three next month, not only can they all play a part but more importantly for us they'll come through unscathed.
