Leo's Return To Scoring Is A Delight To See

Leo's Return To Scoring Is A Delight To See

Kazenga LuaLua has said that the entire team are relishing the fact that Leo Ulloa has got his shooting boots back on now.

Ulloa has spent a large part of the season out with a foot injury and hasn't long return to fitness really, but his form is definitely stepping up and after scoring the winner over Doncaster Rovers a few days ago, he was back at it last night as he scored the winner over Leeds United.

Speaking to the Official Site following the game, LuaLua was quick to praise the recent goal scoring exploits of his colleague and said.

'He's doing a massive job and he helps us a lot. He holds the ball up and brings others in so he's a massive player for us. We were gutted when he was injured so it's good to have him back.'

LuaLua goes on to say that going into the Leeds game nobody was under any illusions as to how difficult a game it was going to be for us, as although they were wobbling results wise a few weeks back, and obviously have had numerous off pitch issues of late, they are a very dangerous team who are capable of making any opponent depressed come full time, so he knows how big a win it was for us.

He also added great praise for our defence on the day who have continued their run of consecutive clean sheets following our last two victories, and we are of course now only one point off the play off positions.

FA Cup next, and a league distraction maybe, but one the players welcome and LuaLua believes that home advantage will be a big plus for us this weekend when we face off against Hull.

He finishes his interview by saying that despite knowing how important a victory it was, the team will simply continue to do what we have been doing all season which is taking each individual game as it comes and not getting too downhearted when things don't go for us, nor getting too carried away when results do go for us.
