Amex Chosen For England Women's Qualifier

Amex Chosen For England Women's Qualifier

The American Express Community Stadium has been chosen to host one of the England Women's 2015 World cup qualifiers.

The qualifier against Montenegro on Saturday April 5th will kick off at 1pm and will also be screened live on BBC One.

The Amex has previously hosted two England related games, the U19 victory over Denmark in November 2011, and the U21 victory over Austria in March of last year, but Mark Sampson's first home game in charge will be the first full competitive match we have staged.

Speaking to the Official Site chief executive Paul Barber said.

'As a club with our own thriving women's team and centre of excellence, we are keen to support and promote the women's game in every way we can. To be hosting a senior international World Cup qualifier is not only a great honour for the club, but is a great boost to the profile of the women's game in Brighton and Sussex.'

Tickets go on sale this Friday, and pricing can be found on the above link.
