Bridcutt Urged To Stay

Liam Bridcutt could quite easily play in the Premier League so it's little wonder such a move is being spoken about so much with the transfer window just days from reopening. It's hoped that the Brighton midfielder remains at the Amex though.

Keith Andrews is a footballer of experience in the Premier League, so knows personally what it takes to cut it at such a level. That's left him telling the Argus that Bridcutt has the qualities required to do the same.

Like most of us though Andrews does hope that Bridcutt isn't lured away just yet, or Brighton tempted aren't into selling him as even though we've got a good and competitive midfield as it is it'll be even better with him part of the mix, and that'll leave us confident of pushing for promotion at the end of the season.

A move to Sunderland could now seem less likely as it's reported that Sunderland won't have the 2m that they've been reported as having to offer for Bridcutt. Former Brighton manager Gus Poyet will apparently have to make do with free transfers and loan next month, and he'll not got Bridcutt away from the Amex under any such move.
