Back To The Real Action
With England playing worse than Palace on a good day against Ukraine but still getting a draw, it's great to be back to the action that really matters on Sunday at Reading.
With the game being shown live on Sky tv, it will give Oscar Garcia the opportunity to put out a side that will show the viewing public that Brighton are back.
Hopefully all the niggly injuries will have had time to heal and we can put out a team that will test a very good Reading side to the limit, although to be honest they aren't our favourite team to play, especially in recent seasons.
With the Seagulls backroom openly stating that they are looking to sign a forward ASAP, with Tottenham's Jonathon Obika a strong contender, things should start looking up in a season that so far hasn't really gone to plan.
Although Obika has only started 5 times for spurs and is yet to score AND he has injury problems, if he gets a run in a footballing side like Albion then I can see him being a good asset.
Dexter Blackstock of Nottingham Forest is out of favour at the midlands club and his name has also been put in the frame as a possible loan signing to.
Whoever we bring in, it will take some pressure off the so far prolific Leonardo Ulloa, who cannot be expected to carry the goal scoring responsibility on his shoulders alone.
If Andrea Orlandi is fit we will again have that player that can start making more chances than we have had thus far in the Championship race and we need someone who is going to take those chances when they come.
So here's to a hard fought win at the Madjeski Sunday and to start playing the kind of football that we know we are capable of.
Come on you Seagulls!!!
