Vicente makes his first league start of the season tonight as Albion take on Blackburn at Ewood Park.
The Spaniard made his return from injury at Birmingham on Saturday, and is now handed a starting berth in attack, with Gary Dicker also returning to the side - as Dean Hammond and Craig Mackail-Smith drop to the bench.
New signing Leonardo Ulloa misses out once again, with the striker still yet to receive international clearance since arriving from Almeria. Ashley Barnes continues to lead for the line for the Seagulls, on the back of 2 goals in 2 games.
Inigo Calderon continues at right-back in the absence of the injury-troubled Bruno, whilst conventional widemen Will Buckley and Kazenga LuaLua are restricted to the substitute's bench once again, as Poyet opts for the more ball-playing options in David Lopez and Andrea Orlandi.
Line-ups in full:
Blackburn Rovers: Kean, Kane, Dann, Hanley, Martin Olsson; Pedersen, Lowe, Murphy, Markus Olsson; Kazim-Richards, Rhodes.
Subs: Usai (GK), Givet, Fabio Nunes, Dunn, Nuno Gomes, Rochina, Goodwillie.
Brighton & Hove Albion: Kuszczak, Calderon, El-Abd, Greer, Bridge; Bridcutt, Dicker, Orlandi; David, Vicente, Barnes.
Subs: Ankergren (GK), Painter, Hammond, LuaLua, Buckley, Hoskins, Mackail-Smith.
