Team News: CMS in for Buckley

Poyet makes one change to the side that beat Derby for this afternoon's trip to Birmingham.

Striker Craig Mackail-Smith comes back into the starting XI after missing out against Derby with a tight hamstring. Will Buckley drops to the bench, as Poyet opts for a similar formation to the one that dumped Newcastle out of the FA Cup.

New signing Leonardo Ulloa misses out, presumably due to not having received his international clearance in time.

Inigo Calderon continues at right-back in the absence of Bruno, whilst David Lopez will continue to link up with his fellow Spaniard on the right flank. Liam Bridcutt, Dean Hammond and Andrea Orlandi make up the rest of the midfield.

Vicente takes up a place on the bench alongside Kazenga LuaLua.

Line-ups in full:

Birmingham City: Butland; Caddis, Caldwell, Davies, Robinson; Burke, Gomis, Reilly, Elliott; Redmond, Hall.

Subs: Doyle, Hancox, Mullins, Morrison, Lovenkrands, King, Zigic.

Brighton & Hove Albion: Kuszczak, Calderon, Greer, El-Abd, Bridge; Bridcutt, Hammond, Orlandi; David, Barnes, Mackail-Smith.

Subs: Ankergren, Dunk, Dicker, Vicente, LuaLua, Buckley, Hoskins.
