League update: Part II
Albion slip a further place to 10th after today's set of Boxing Day fixtures.
However, they remain just 3 points from the Championship play-off spots, and could potentially leapfrog 6th placed Watford as they prepare to take on the Hornets in a live Sky clash this coming Saturday.
The Seagulls now have a game in hand on most others, following last weekend's postponed match with Blackburn, and will be looking to make the most of the re-arranged fixture - whenever that should take place.
Sean O'Driscoll was today relieved of his duties at Forest, despite a 4-2 win over Leeds United that saw them leap to 8th in the table, pushing Albion down to 10th in the process.
Blackpool could only manage a stalemate with fellow mid-table side Huddersfield, whilst Watford's match at Bristol City was postponed due to a waterlogged pitch at Ashton Gate.
