Toon tie to be televised

Albion's FA Cup clash against Newcastle United has been selected for live coverage on ITV1.

The third round tie has been moved forward, and will kick off at 12:30pm on Saturday 5th of January - meaning Albion will be under the spotlight as that particular round of games get underway.

ITV will be hoping for a contest similar to the one that saw the Seagulls emerge 1-0 winners over the Magpies at the Amex last season - Will Buckley with the only goal to set up a fifth round tie with Liverpool.

As the hosts of the televised event, the club will receive 135,850 from the broadcasters.
