Another Seagull flies the nest, as young striker George Barker heads for League Two Barnet on loan.
Joining the ever-growing ranks of Albion players currently loaned out to the basement division, Barker will link up with ex-Champions League winner Edgar Davids, now Bees' player-manager alongside Mark Robson at Underhill, where he will stay until 5th January.
The 21-year-old forward has been prolific for the club's development squad, and will now have the chance, at long last, to show what he is capable of in the Football League - having suffered from a lack of opportunities in the Albion first team.
Development squad coach Luke Williams told the official site, "I think George is a fantastic player, it is so difficult to break into the Championship these days and George has been given an opportunity to play first team football.
"This will help him bridge the gap between development football and playing for a first team. He will now get closer to the type of pressure first players are under to win three points with a crowd on your back."
Barker will have his first chance of involvement as Barnet travel to Cheltenham this coming weekend.
