Team News: Four changes for Albion

Gus Poyet makes 4 changes to the side that left him frustrated with a draw at Wolves last weekend.

Marcos Painter makes his first start of the season, filling in at left-back for the injured Wayne Bridge, who has failed to recover from a calf injury that forced an early withdrawal at Wolves.

Dean Hammond returns to the midfield, replacing Andrew Crofts - and will line-up alongside Liam Bridcutt and Andrea Orlandi. Ashley Barnes also returns, as 2-goal Stephen Dobbie drops to the bench. Will Buckley is also among the starting XI.

Jermaine Beckford is a surprise absentee for Huddersfield.

Line-ups in full:

Huddersfield Town: Smithies (GK), Dixon, Lynch, P Clarke (C), Hunt, Ward, Southern, Norwood, Clayton, Novak, Church

Subs: Bennett (GK), Woods, Gerrard, Hammill, Arfield, Lee, Robinson

Brighton & Hove Albion: Kuszczak (GK), Bruno, Greer (C), Dunk, Painter; Bridcutt, Hammond, Orlandi; Barnes, Buckley, Mackail-Smith

Subs: Brezovan (GK), Calderon, David, Dicker, LuaLua, Hoskins, Dobbie
